Helen Rembowski Krawiec

Helen (Rembowski) Krawiec, 93, of Rock Hill, SC, formerly of Somers and Rocky Hill, CT entered into eternal rest Monday, April 12, 2021 after battling Parkinson’s disease for over 30 years.  She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond T Krawiec.  Born in Southampton, Long Island, N.Y., she lived in Somers for many years before moving to Rocky Hill and last year moving to Rock Hill, SC.  She was formerly employed as a dental assistant.  She was known for her dry sense of humor.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara A Zlotnick of Sneads Ferry, NC, son Thomas R Krawiec and wife, Annie of Lake Wylie, SC, granddaughter Jennifer L Galasso and husband, Ian of Gallatin, TN, grandsons Peter T Krawiec of Breckenridge, CO, and Scott A Krawiec of Nashville, TN, her sister Sophie Skinger of Norwich, CT and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Zyiewski and Anna Wantuch; brothers, Wesley Rembowski and Edward Carey and her son-in-law Alexander Zlotnick.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 22 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill, CT.  Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice & Community Care, 2275 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732.
