Helen Luchey

Mrs. Helen A. Luchey, 76, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at her daughter's home in Rock Hill, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband Metz W. Luchey in December 22, 2007 in McCormick, SC at Savannah Heights Living Center. At the time of his death they had enjoyed 55 years of marriage. She was devoted house wife and mother and he was a devote husband, father and a retired Supervisor at Republican Steele of Buffalo, NY. From their union they leave their three surviving children Lynette (Dexter Harris) of Buffalo, NY, Ida Luchey of Rock Hill, SC and Metz Jr. (Chrishele) of Mt. Carmel, SC; eight grandchildren and a host of family and friends. A service to celebrate the of Mrs. Luchey will be held Saturday at 11:00am in the Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home in Rock Hill, SC with interment to follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
