Mrs. Helen Louise Marlowe, age 88 passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Rock Hill. Born in 1928 in Charlotte, NC a daughter of the late Garland Bruce and Mary Adams Simmons. Mrs. Marlowe was a Member of Unity Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill, a former member of Steele Creek Presbyterian Church where she was married, she was avid golfer a meticulous person and a person that would light up any room when she walked in, she was know for her love of cooking and her selfless generosity

Survivors include her husband of 60 years William "Bill" Marlowe of Fort Mill; one brother James Simmons of Charlotte, NC and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Thursday April 27th 2017 at Unity Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill with Rev. Dan Holloway officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
