Herbert John White

Fort Mill, SC – Mr. Herbert John White, 70, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 4, 2024.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on September 17, 1953. Herbert was a son of the late Herbert E. White and Marie T. White.  Herbert graduated from Florida State University in 1985 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Herbert had a brilliant mind and was a true adventurist and was a man of many hobbies.  He enjoyed woodworking, restoration projects, and macrame.  He was an avid sportsman who loved fishing in the Gulf, skydiving, and skiing in the Swiss Alps.  He also enjoyed practicing French, camping, traveling, and reading. He loved to cook, garden, and read. Herbert had a true love for people.  He will be remembered as a great father, husband, brother, uncle and friend to many people.

He is survived by his wife, Brandy Nicholson Lane; three stepdaughters, Madison, Mollie, and Brooklyn; a stepson, Nathan; two brothers, James E White (Lilia) and Michael J White (Cynthia Lea); and a sister, Christena E Collins (Ray).  He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Joseph White; a sister, Elaine E Dumaine; and a nephew, Dustin James Cleary.
