Herman Banks Mccoy

Rock Hill - Mr. Herman Banks McCoy, 85, of 123 Burgis Creek Road, died Friday, April 14, 2017, at his home.

The family will receive friends 4 - 6 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2017, at Whitesell Funeral Home.

Mr. McCoy was retired from Springs Industries Fort Mill Plant. He also worked part-time at Winn Dixie in Rock Hill.

Surviving are his wife, Jean C McCoy; a son, Robert Dean Wray (Felicia); four daughters, Elizabeth James (Dennis), Ruby Switzer (Bill), Dianne Craig, and Jerri Tombaugh; a sister, Lila Weaver; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death a granddaughter, Johnnie Elizabeth Ross; and two sisters, Annie Brown and Velma Parks.
