Herta L Varney

Rock Hill - Herta L Varney, 70, passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends Friday Sept 3, 2010.

She was born in Ludwigshafen Germany and came to the US in 1962. She retired from Dystar LP. Herta loved traveling, baking, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. She was the "motivator" at the Y with the water walking group. She was a wonderful mother and friend.

She leaves one daughter, Frances Wiggins of Charlotte NC, her constant companions Waldi and Schatzi, extended family in Germany, and many friends.

A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 1 pm at St Philip Neri Catholic Church with Father John Giuliani officiating. A reception will follow at the church.
