Hollis Dale Carpenter

Hollis Dale Carpenter, 82 of York, SC - loving husband and father went home to be with the Lord on Friday December 16, 2016 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill. He was retired, prior to retirement he was self employed as a contractor. Hollis is survived by his wife Edith, son's Bryan (Brenda) of Fort Mill, SC, Bruce of York, SC, Curtis of York, SC, and Greg (Jean) of Monroe, NC, granddaughter Michelle (Chris) Myers, grandson Brandon Arey and great grandchildren Joshua and Danielle Myers - sister Monica Kenyon of Warrensburg, NY, and various nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson Matt Carpenter (April 24, 2016). A private memorial service was held for the immediate family on December 31st.
