Hugh Millen "Buddy" Gill Jr.

Hugh Millen "Buddy" Gill, Jr., 63, of 2353 Gill Jordan Road, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at his home. A native of Chester County, Mr. Gill was born October 17, 1946 son of the late Hugh Millen Gill, Sr. and the late Martha Douglas Gill. He was a sales representative for Humana, a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and was a 1968 graduate of the Citadel. Surviving are his wife Robin McGuire Gill; a daughter Anna Douglas Gill; three sisters Polly Guyton of Blythewood SC, Angie Payne of Charlotte, NC and Lynn Hatcher of Greenville, SC. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00pm Sunday at Union A.R.P. church in Richburg. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Gill will be held Monday at 2:00pm at Union A.R.P. church with. Dr. J. Allen Derrick and Pastor Ron Roddey officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church cemetery.
