Jack Edward Murphy, Sr.

Jack Edward Murphy, Sr. , 88, of Rock Hill and formerly of East Aurora, NY and Stockbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at home. He was born April 29, 1930 in Miami, FL, son of the late John and Dolly Murphy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Tommie Lou Murphy and daughter, Linda Murphy.

Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army. He proudly raised all of his grandchildren. He enjoyed nature, especially Stone Mountain and all animals.

He is survived by his son, Jack Murphy, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Brian Pfister, Keith Pfister, Jacqueline Murphy, Jennifer Murphy and Katlin Braswell; great-grandchildren, Nathan Duff and Willow Smith; and his beloved dog, Lily.

Services will be privately held.
