Jackie "Jack" Keith Smith, 70, passed away at the Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill, SC, on September 19, 2015. He was born in Kenna, West Virginia, a son of the late Martin and Ora Smith, on January 2, 1945. He was a graduate of Ripley High School. He has lived in the Charlotte and Fort Mill area for 24 years. He was a member of the Calvary Church- Charlotte, NC, supported the Wounded Warrior Project. Jack loved the beach, golf, and his pet cats.

He is survived by his loving wife Janet Smith of Fort Mill, South Carolina. Jack is also survived by a brother Robert "Bob" Martin Smith of Ripley, West Virginia, and two sisters Doris Lee Kay of St. Albans, West Virginia and Connie Jean Moore of Ravenswood, West Virginia.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015, from 6-8:30 P.M. at Palmetto Funeral Home. An additional visitation will also be held at 8-9 A.M. prior to the service at Palmetto Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Calvary Church- Charlotte, NC on September 25, 2015, at 10:30 A.M. Dr. John H. Munro will be presiding over the service. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum in Lancaster, South Carolina.
