James Clinton Grizzle

James C Grizzle, 67, of Rock Hill, SC entered into God's eternal care on January 15, 2018. He was the loving husband of Linda (Shade) Grizzle. Born August 18, 1950 in Gainesville, GA, James was the son of James Leon Grizzle and Lillian (Reeves) Grizzle. He was a Veteran of the Army and proudly fought for his country in the Vietnam war. James was retired from General Motors in Charlotte, NC (formerly worked in the Atlanta, GA and Martinsburg, WV plants). He was a member of Heath Memorial United Methodist Church in Lando, SC. James favorite past time was NASCAR Motor-sports. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Kirk (Melissa) Grizzle, Cumming, GA, granddaughter, Kaitlyn Grizzle and great-grandson, Travis Evans, both of Winterville, GA, siblings Charles (Lori) Grizzle, Gainesville, GA, Joe Grizzle, Gainesville, GA, Edward (June) Grizzle, Ellijay, Ga, Cathy (Benny) Baldridge, Crandall, GA, Gwen Day, Dawsonville, GA, Carol (Dorsey) Sullens, Dahlonega, GA, Jr. (Janet) Grizzle, Dahlonega, GA and Christine Talton, Knoxville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents Leon & Lillian Grizzle, daughter, Katy Grizzle, grandson, Bowen Grizzle, sister, Ernestine Grizzle, Brothers-in-law, Ray Greenway, Wayne Talton and Louie Day. It was James wishes to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home on Saturday, February 10 at 11:00am. Family will receive friends immediately following the service.
