James F Hamilton

James F. "Frank" Hamilton Rock Hill- Mr. Frank Hamilton, 88, died Wednesday morning August 19, 2015 in his quiet corner of the world. Visitation/viewing will be Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10 am at Eastview Baptist Church on Highway 5 with an 11:00 graveside service to follow in the church cemetery, with Reverend Rick Martin officiating. Born in Mecklenburg County, Mr. Hamilton spent most of his life in Rock Hill hunting, fishing, coaching pony league baseball and gardening, along with his wife of 68 years, Mildred Hamilton. He was a Navy veteran, serving in WW II. Frank was the son of James Oscar and Leetha Butler Hamilton and is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Tracey Lynn Hamilton. Along with his wife, surviving members of his family are sons Don Hamilton (Lynne), Lin Hamilton (Dale) and Boyce Hamilton (Gloria) along with grandchildren Wade (Tamera & Bailey), Joe (Ashleigh), Brett (Lauren & Emersyn), Brian and Jessica. The family will In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Eastview Baptist Church.
