James Henry Ellis

James Henry Ellis passed away peacefully on July 18th 2023 at home in Lancaster South Carolina surrounded by his loved ones. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Annie; his daughters Deb Foster and Brenda (Peter) Hetterich; his grandchildren Robert (Jill) Pepe,  Samantha (Nathan) Pepe and great grandchildren Thomas, Hollie and Lacey.   Jimmy is preceded in death by his beloved son in law Dennis Foster.  The Mathie Family; Russell, Esther, Sarah, Ryan and Kyle; will always hold a special place in his heart.  Jimmy was a dedicated  family man who was hardworking and always greeted everyone with a loving smile.  Jimmy worked 33 years at the Kings Park State Hospital and worked for Kings Park Central School District for over 20 years.  He was adored and cherished by so many and impacted the lives of everyone he met.  Jimmy enjoyed transporting horses along the east coast and shared his love for country music with all.  Taking long walks and golf cart rides  with his grand pups was always the highlight of his day.  Jimmy was a wonderful man with such a kind soul; he will be forever missed.
