James Anderson Howington Sr.

March 1, 1939 — February 14, 2016

James A. Howington Sr, 76, left his earthly home to be with his Lord on February 14, 2016. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday, February 16 at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11am at the chapel of Bass Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Reverend Jerry Devinney officiating. Burial will be held at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. Surviving are his wife, Betty H. Howington; son, Jamey Howington (Joannie); son, Marty Howington (LeeAnn); granddaughter Logan Howington Seay (Casey); grandson, Drew Howington; grandson, Jason Dresner; great grandchildren, Morgan Dresner Lathan (Jerry), Kaylea Dresner, Audrey Dresner, and Ridge Seay. His sisters, Avis Gibson and Alma Smith. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
