James "Jim" Hromyak

Rock Hill - James Hromyak (Jim), 80, of 1659 Avalon Dr, Rock Hill, SC, went home to be with the Lord on September, 11, 2018, at the Agape Hospice House, in Lexington, SC.
The Memorial Service will be held on, Saturday, September 29, at 2 PM, at West End Baptist Church, Rock Hill, following a family luncheon, beginning at 12 Noon with the Rev. Jay Rebsamen officiating.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on September 19, 1937, Mr. Hromyak was the son of the late Michael and Helen Hromyak. He was a member of West End Baptist Church, an avid gardener and a Pittsburgh Steeler fan, spending the majority of his professional life as CFO in the health care industry. He received a BS degree from Eckard College, St Petersburg, FL, and an MBA from Nova University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He retired in 2007 and relocated from Palm Harbor, FL to Rock Hill.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 18 years, Ginna Bennett; 2 daughters, Shari Shambaugh, of Dallas, TX, and Patti Greenleaf of Palm Harbor, FL, 1 son Micheal Hromyak, of Tampa, FL; 2 brothers, Leonard Hromyak and Ronald Hromyak, both of Pittsburgh, and 1 sister, Janet Lucas, also of Pittsburgh; 3 step sons, Kenneth Marcks, of Mt. Dora, FL, Kevin Marcks, of Waterford, CT, and Craig Marcks, of Malvern, PA; and 9 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the family home in Rock Hill, following the service.
