James Jordan Jr.

James "Bill" H. Jordan, Jr., 84, of Rock Hill passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at his home. A graveside service will be held 11am Wednesday, June 25, 2015 at Grandview Memorial Park with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. James was a member of West End Baptist Church. He was a man of strong faith who truly loved the Lord. James married the love of his life, Ethel, on July 6, 1951. Together they had three children. James was a retired firefighter who proudly served Rock Hill for thirty-three years. He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Dean; his daughter, Linda; his parents, Cloteal and James H. Jordan, Sr.; and two brothers, Earl and Fred. He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Ethel Adams Jordan; his brother, Willard Jordan; his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Franky Comer; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
