Mr. James C. Mahaffey, 80, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. He was a Life Member of the Indian Land Lodge No. 414. He enjoyed many hobbies from fishing, watching wrestling on TV, to going to see car racing. He always helped anyone he could, and was kind to anyone he came in contact with. Mr. Mahaffey loved to joke and cut up with everyone he met, even towards the end he could still crack a joke.

He was survived by his wife Linda Mahaffey, his daughter Donna Moore, his four step sons William, Scotty, Davie, and Jason Jacobson, and his step daughter Stacy Harper. He is also survived by a brother Clifford Mahaffey and a sister Kay Hensley. Mr. Mahaffey has seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 6, 2015, at 11 AM at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29708. Reverend Bob Lang will be presiding over the service.
