Rock Hill SC - James L. McElhany, 81, of rock Hill, died Monday, August 31, 2015. He was an US Air Force Veteran, a member of Woodland UMC, an avid outdoors-man, and a member of the Wilderness Hunt Club. He is survived by: His wife of 58 years: Bobbie P. McElhany; 3 children: Willie F. McElhany & wife Katherine, James T. McElhany & wife Cherylann, Debbie Kalemkiewicz & husband Allen; A sister: Lillian Edgin; A brother: John P. McElhany; 3 grandchildren: Ashley, Jennifer, Stephanie; 2 step-grandchildren: William Doniel and Laura Reese; 4 great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 in the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
