James Barron "Jimmy" Neely

James Barron "Jimmy" Neely, 82, of McConnells, SC passed away peacefully Saturday, October 7, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 24, 1935 in McConnells, son of the late Claude Mason Neely, Sr. and Mattie Clinton Neely. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Feemster Neely and brothers, Robert Ervin Neely and Claude Mason Neely, Jr. Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church. To cherish his memory he leaves his sons, James Anthony "Tony" Neely (Donna) of Rock Hill and Randall Barron "Randy" Neely (Polly) of Clio, SC; grandchildren, Jordan Neely (Louisa), Erin Morris (Tyler), Justin Yager, Jessica Yager and Jennifer Yager; and two great-grandchildren, Adaline and Kyson. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 PM, Monday, October 9, 2017 at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. A Funeral Service will be held at the church at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Bethesda Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
