James Jimmy Henry Shugart

August 18, 1951 — March 14, 2018

Catawba – Mr. James “Shug” Henry Shugart, 67, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at his home.

Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Monday at Whitesell Funeral Home.

Mr. Shugart was a native of Rock Hill, SC and was a son of the late William Elmer Shugart and Millowdean Bagley Shugart. He worked for many years as a painter. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and especially grandfather.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Theresa Williams Shugart; three children, Michael Shugart, Christopher Shugart (Kelly) and Angela Shugart (Jimbo Conner); daughter-in-law, Tina Shugart; three brothers, Billy Shugart, Ronnie Shugart, and David Shugart; a sister Tina Ross; nine grandchildren, Angel, Conrad, James, Austin, Cole, Michael, Caleb, Addison, and Zachary.

The family would like to thank the people at Agape Hospice especially Peggy Deas and Patricia.
