James M. Simpson Chester - Chief Petty Officer, James McDonald Simpson (Cousy), U.S. Navy (Retired), 74 of Chester, S.C. was born December 17, 1940 in Rock Hill, S.C. and passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his residence. He was a member of Edgemoor ARP Church, member of Masonic Lodge #89 and retired from the Navy with over 20 years of service. He was a Commercial Driver retired with over 22 years and Founder of Cousy's. He was proceeded in death by his father, Mills B. Simpson , Sr; mother Ella K. Simpson; and brothers, Mills B Simpson, Jr. and Francis Simpson. He is survived by his wife, Rachel W. Simpson of Chester, S.C.; sons, Troy M. Simpson (Celine) of Salem, Al, Shane L. Simpson (Lori) of White Bear Lake, Mn, Kane S. Simpson (Tracey) of Blackstock, S.C.; Daugthers, Sandra R. Woodard (Dallas) of Gaston S.C., Deborah A. Simpson (Chris) of Chesterfield, Va, and Brandi B. Hamilton of Hickory Grove, S.C.; Sister Martha Waldrop (Ben) of Edgemoor, S.C.; Grandchildren, Damien, Amanda, Lee, Taylor, Demetrius, Justin, Preston, Dylan, Sebestien, Madison, Emilee, Brooke, Christiyana and Great grandson, David Michael. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Bass - Cauthen Funeral Home, Rock Hill, S.C. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Edgemoor A.R.P Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
