James Lalani Tesimale

FORT MILL - James Lalani Tesimale, 60, of 6008 Autumn Moon Dr., died Sunday, July 16, 2017, at CMC Pineville.

James Lalani Tesimale was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 26th 1957 to Talama and Pioa Tesimale. He was raised in Southern California and was the oldest of his 4 siblings - Mike, Sarah, Sally and Junior. While James' father, Talama, was often deployed abroad as a Marine, James learned early how to lead, love and serve others. James met his high school sweetheart, Rebecca Lillian Reber, at church in Santa Ana and they were later married on October 21st 1978 in the Los Angeles Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. James and Becky were happily married for 38 years. James is a father to 5 children - Jeremy, Cami, Greg, Jordan and Rylan. James was also blessed with 10 grandchildren who loved and respected him. He was a son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, Bishopric Counselor, Stake Presidency Counselor and friend. James passed away on Sunday, July 16th, 2017 in Charlotte, North Carolina. His family and friends remember him most for his talent in sports, love of others, passion for service and giving, and his fun sense of humor. Thousands have been blessed by his service, gifts, food and love.
