Jane Kelly Williams

Kelly Williams, 57, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on August 21, 2023. Born on September 20, 1965, in Winston Salem, North Carolina, Kelly was the beloved daughter of Jane and Robert Williams. She was also the loving sister of Mary Lou Connelly. Kelly's grandparents, Mary Pollard, Louise Williams, Clayton Williams and Ray Pollard, preceded her in death. She is survived by her parents, sister, and cherished family members, Robert Pollard, Jane Pollard, Rob Pollard, Erland Pollard, and Charlie Pollard.

Kelly was a talented and creative individual, known for her passion for writing and cross-stitching. She pursued her love for writing professionally as a technical writer for Transamerica Reinsurance and also contributed as a freelance writer to local publications. Aside from her career, Kelly had a deep appreciation for the University of North Carolina basketball and professional tennis.

She will be fondly remembered for her witty sense of humor and her love for dogs. Kelly enjoyed spending her free time indulging in hobbies such as cross-stitching, reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, and dining out with family and friends. She found solace in these activities and was able to showcase her creativity and attention to detail.

Kelly had a strong connection to her community and valued her faith. Her faith provided her with strength and guidance throughout her life.

In accordance with Kelly's wishes, there will not be a funeral or public memorial service held. Her family and loved ones will honor her memory privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Contributions in Kelly's name will support the important work of this organization in the fight against cancer.

Kelly Williams will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her vibrant personality, creative spirit, and love for her family and community will forever be cherished.
