Janet Pearson Schwing

Mrs.Janet Pearson Schwing, 98, of 839 Confederate Ave. passed away at White Oak Manor of York on Wednesday May 20, 2009. Mrs. Schwing born in Spartanburg, SC, was a daughter of the late Walter and Tessie Loftis Pearson. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rock Hill and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Arthur G. Schwing. A Graveside Service will be celebrated Friday May 22, 2009, at 2PM at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev. Charlie Lucas. Mrs. Schwing is survived by her daughters Pat Greene, of Moore, SC, Joyce Stevens and husband Buddy of Rock Hill, and Barbara Harrelson, of Charlotte. Sons, James Schwing, Buck Schwing and wife Jean, both of Rock Hill. Grandchildren Joyce Ann Baker, Randy and Kenny Groves, Lisa McGowan, Erika Bebow and Grant Schwing. Great grandchildren, Megan, Brittany, Amanda, Amber, Graham and Christopher, and great-great grandchildren Kayla, Sophie and Chandler , and sisters Katherine Ashmore of Piedmont, SC and Peggy Griffith of Fort Walton Beach, Fl.
