Janice Ann Martinet

Catawba – Mrs. Janice Ann Martinet, 67, of 608 Preston Brooks Drive, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014.

Mrs. Martinet was born in Sacramento, California, the daughter, of the late James and Dorothy Kamberg Hardy. She is the beloved wife, of 42 years to Louis L. Martinet and the loving mother of three daughters, Janein, Renee and Ramona. She was blessed to have eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

She was a master genealogist who had traced her family line back to the 1400’s. She fondly called herself a computer geek who loved to play video games. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lancaster Branch, where she was a family history consultant.

She is survived by her husband, Louis L. Martinet; three daughters, Janein Johnson of Panama City, Florida, Renee Cox of Socastee, South Carolina, and Ramona Martinet-Olson of Conway, South Carolina; 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter; and one brother, Russell Hardy of California.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lancaster Branch, 1416 West Meeting Street, Lancaster, SC 29720.
