Rock Hill – Mr. Jason David Bolinger , 50, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019. He was born January 11, 1969 in Valparaiso, Porter County, Indiana, son of Terry Dean Bolinger and Michell Tackett Bolinger.
The family moved to Florida when Jason was 6 months old. At the age of 3, he became a big brother to Matthew Travis. When Jason was five years old, his family moved to the Carolina's where he grew up.
Jason earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1987. After graduation, he served a 2-year full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in The Netherlands (Holland) where he spoke fluent Dutch.
Jason had a love of computers that led to a degree and career in Computer Programming. His career ranged from teaching computer courses to working as a contractor with the Navy as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Jason was married in the Washington D.C. Temple on June 19, 1992 to DreNe Amanda Williams and they were blessed with two daughters.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bolinger is survived by his two daughters, Jordan Amanda Bolinger and Tabitha Marie Bolinger; wife, DreNe Williams Bolinger; brother, Matthew Travis Bolinger and his wife, Sheri Dawn Bolinger. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - York Ward, at 1130 Alexander Love Highway in York, SC 29745. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:30 PM at the Church. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park - Cherry Road, in Rock Hill.
