Jean Stewart

Laura Jean  95, wast born on Jan 3 1926 to Alfred and Estel Ramsey departed to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on
Sunday, August 22, 2021.  She was a native of Charlotte, NC.

Jean was one of the middle daughters of her thirteen siblings and was the last of her family to leave this world.

Jean's husband, William Godfrey Stewart preceded her in death in 2006 and is also singing at the feet of their sweet Lord Jesus.

She was one of the greatest southern cooks and cake baker you could find.

Jean is survived by and deeply missed by her daughter Elaine Berryhill, daughter Cheri Sutherland, son in law Daryl Sutherland, granddaughter Kyndall Sutherland Rooker, her husband Kenyon Rooker,  grandson Ky Stewart Sutherland, sister in law Jean Stewart Johnson.

She currently lived with the wonderful staff at Carrington Place Nursing and Rehab Center in Matthews, NC.   She was a devoted wife, a cherished-- sacrificing mother,  precious grandmother, devoted daughter, supportive sister, and loved by all her family, family friends, and Carrington Place family.

Services held at Central Church of God,  5301 Sardis Road Charlotte, NC 28270  12:15 p.m. on Saturday August 28, 2021
