Jeanette Dickson Epps

Jeanette D. Epps (Godfrey) was born in Rock Hill SC, she passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Piedmont Medical Center on Monday, February 27th, 2023, at the age of 80.

She is survived by her husband Howard “Bo” Godfrey of Rock Hill; her children, Billy Epps (Emmy) of Rock Hill and Audrey Epps (Ricky) of Fort Mill; four sisters, Anne Sanford, Myra Smith of Rock Hill, Susie Gladden (Michael) of Panama City, FL and Joyce Dickson of Lake Wateree; three Grandchildren, Hailee Faulkner (Austin) of McConnells, Amber Epps of Murrells Inlet and Matthew Hammond of Fort Mill; many nieces and nephews that she loved very much, and many others who were special to her. She was preceded in death by her son Edwin “Cole” Epps; her parents, Roy and Annie Dickson; her brothers, Roy, Richard and Don Dickson.

Jeanette was of the Baptist faith; and she was a graduate of Rock Hill High School.  She worked at Smith Enterprise as a floor supervisor for 33 years, before retiring.  She enjoyed the simple things in life, spending quality time with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home Chapel, 700 Heckle Boulevard, Rock Hill, SC 29730 on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM, followed by visitation with the family afterwards.
