Jeanne Claire Ongaro

Jeanne Ongaro, 95, peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus on February 15th, 2024 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Jeanne was born in Garden City Park, NY on November 27th, 1928, the daughter of Bill and Mae Ryan. Jeanne was married to her loving husband Joseph, for 44 years and he preceded her on March 13th, 1995.  She was also preceded by her younger brother Bill Ryan.

Jeanne was the loving mother to Gail and her husband Bruce.  She cherished her grandchildren, Ryan, Erin and Megan and her great grandchildren Ireland and Greyson. She always enjoyed attending our family birthday and holiday gatherings.

Jeanne always enjoyed her friendships within the neighborhoods she lived in.  She looked forward to her weekly mahjong and bridge games. We treasure the last eight years we had with mom after she moved from Florida to South Carolina. We visited her multiple times each week and enjoyed our dinners out together. Mom will be greatly missed.
