Jeffrey Howell Batey

Mr. Jeffrey Howell Batey, age 48 passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Piedmont Medical Center.

Born in El Paso, Texas; the son of the late Howell S. Batey, and Dori A. Bartley.

Jeff was a former Landscape Manager at Metco Landcaping, Colorado Springs. Colorado. Previously with The Brickman Group and TruGreen Landcare.

Jeff had a passion for the outdoors; he enjoyed camping, fishing, dirt bikes, water sports, snowboarding, and landscaping.

First and foremost, his love and devotion for his daughters was unconditional, and never ending. They were the most important thing in his life.

He is survived by his daughters; Kylie Alynn Batey, and Hailey Afton Batey. He is also survived by his mother Dori Bartley and stepfather John Bartley; his sister Trisha Compton and brother in law Michael "Todd" Compton. He was dearly loved by his extended family of two nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and two step sisters.

Memorial service will be held Saturday morning, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Barry Yates will be officiating.

The family will have a luncheon at a nearby location following the memorial service.
