Jennifer Lynn Carmody

Jennifer Lynn Carmody, "Jenni", of Lake Wylie, SC and formerly of Oswego, IL, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 at home. She was born March 13, 1979 in Detroit, MI.

Jenni relished her role as a mom and wife. She was a second mother to her children's friends and many neighborhood kids. She loved to craft, bake, sew and otherwise "create". She was actively involved in Girl Scouts and her kids' softball, baseball and other sporting and school activities.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Patrick M. Carmody, Jr.; children, Chloe, Cora, Caden and Curran Carmody; parents, Francis and Barbara Norton of Oswego, IL; sister, Meghan Christensen and husband, Tyler of Aurora, IL; brother, Matthew Norton and wife, Jessica of Aurora, IL; grandparents, Edwin and Dolores Holtz of S. Lyon, MI, Francis and Cindy Norton of Cheboygan, MI and Sharon and Art Pulte of Rochester Hills, MI; in-laws, Patrick M. Carmody, Sr. and Linda Carmody of Oswego, IL; three brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law and their spouses; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Palmetto Funeral Home.
