Rock Hill - Jeri Lee George Outen Ferrell, 57, a member of the Catawba Indian Nation was reunited with the love of her life, William "Billy" Lawson Ferrell on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, with her children by her side.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, at Bible Baptist Church, Fort Mill, SC, with the Revs. Jim Parrish and Jerry Boyce officiating. The family will receive friends 10 - 11:30 a.m. on Saturday before the service and other times at her daughter's home, Tonya Cornwell, 305 Chipwood Lane, Rock Hill. Burial will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Catawba Ward Church Cemetery.
A native of Rock Hill, she was the daughter of the late Jerry Lee Williams and the late Mary Elaine George. She was of the Christian faith. She loved to paint ceramics specifically Indian Head replicas. She enjoyed going to the mountains with her husband Billy. She worked as a production seamstress with PFI Southern Company. She enjoyed listening to Country music. Her jokes, laughter, smile and ability to make you laugh will be truly missed.
Surviving are her son, Robert "Robby" Edward Outen and his wife, Michelle; one daughter, Tonya George Cornwell and her husband, Jeff; one sister, Mary Frances Perdue and her husband Billy; eight grandchildren and a great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by two step-daughters, Michelle Ann Blue and her children and grandchildren and Dawn Norville and her child.
