Jerry Homer Bennett age 74 of 5122 Harmony Church Rd. Edgemoor passed away Tuesday January 19, 2010 at Agape Senior. Mr. Bennett was born February 11, 1935 a son of the late Rueben Thomas and Cody Adams Bennett and was retired from Young's Contracting Co. Survived by wife Mary Roberts Bennett of Edgemoor daughters Catherine Ann Costner of Edgemoor, Athena C. Lindsay of Edgemoor, Teresa B. Haggins of Edgemoor and son Jerry Michael Bennett of Catawba, a brother Curtis Bennett of Eden, NC. 6 grandchildren , 5 great grandchildren and one great grandchild. Family will receive friends Thursday 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life Mr. Bennett will be Friday at 11:00 am in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Helms officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, S. Cherry Rd.
