Jerry William Childers

Jerry William Childers , 75, of Rock Hill, died Monday, April 22, 2019 at home.

A native of Blacksburg, SC, Mr. Childers was raised by the late William P. and Alice Isabelle Hardin Childers. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Parrish Childers; son, Roger Childers; daughter, Renee Childers; and mother, Virginia Maybelle Childers Gunn.

He is survived by his son, Dean Childers of Rock Hill; three grandchildren, Blaze Childers, Skyler Childers, and Dakota Childers; three sisters, Alice Kay Gunn Jackson and husband, Johnny “Sonny Boy” of Lugoff, SC, Rosie Gunn Hinson of Columbia, and Joyce M. Gunn Dority and husband, Robert of Bishopville; and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Laurelwood Cemetery.
