Jerry Todd Herron

ROCK HILL - Jerry Todd Herron, 49, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at CMC Main in Charlotte.

A Memorial service in his honor will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013, at 2:30 PM, at Relive Church of God, 1107 Mt. Gallant Rd. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until 2:30 at the church and other times at the home of Pat Williams

Mr. Herron was born in Charlotte, N.C., he is the son of the late Richard Lee and Geraldine Cook Herron. He made many friends and was a well respected as a painter 30 years. He was a loving and hard working man who loved his family. He never met a stranger. He also enjoyed bird watching. He was very proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them. His children were his pride and joy.

He is survived by his life long companion, Connie Williams and her family, one son, Charles (Charlie) Herron of Rock Hill; two daughters, Shannon Whittier of Washington, and Cassey Lee Williams of Rock Hill; two brothers, Larry Herron and his family of Chester, SC and Richard Lee Herron Jr. and his family of Marshville, NC; one sister, Lillian Tarlton and her family of Monroe, NC; and one grandson, Carter Elder of Spartanburg; 7 nieces, 11 nephews, 7 great nieces and 11 great nephews.

His love and memories will be cherished for always.
