Jerry Wayne Lee

Jerry Wayne Lee, Born June 21, 1940 and age 69 passed away February 28 at his home, surrounded by his family which he treasured dearly. A native of Fort Mill, he was the oldest son of the late Robert Everett Lee and Nancy Elizabeth Patterson Lee. He graduate from Fort Mill High in 1958 and went on to serve his country in the United States Naval Forces. Afterwards he worked for many years as an electrical and instrumentation designer. Later in life he co-founded Lee's Heating and Cooling with one of his sons. He was a member of Doby's Bridge Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and was an inspiration to many with the courage he displayed through his sense of humor and perseverance. Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Doris Epps Lee, of 45 years and his three sons, William Alexander Lee and his wife Debbie, Tyler Wilson Lee and his wife Julie, and Jeffrey Epps Lee and his wife Kelley, and brother Donald Eugene Lee and his wife Gayle Lee and 7 grandchildren; Brandon Alexander Lee, Zachery Everett Lee, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Lee, Courtney Savannah Lee, Megan Renee Lee, Abigail Janie Lee, and Parker Epps Lee. Visitation will be held at Doby's Bridge Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, March 2nd from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and a Memorial Service the following afternoon at Doby's Bridge Presbyterian Church 2:00 PM.
