Jerry Allen Salyer

Jerry Allen Salyer, ”The Duke”, 55, of Lancaster, South Carolina, passed away on July 27, 2023, of natural causes.

He was born in Virginia, on May 6, 1968, to David and Joyce Salyer.

He had a playful sense of humor and was an avid guitar player who enjoyed riding his motorcycle and woodworking.

Jerry is predeceased by his mother, Joyce Salyer.

He is survived by his father, David Salyer, Sr. (Lisa), his brother, Dave Salyer, Jr. (Trina), his three children; Justin (Krysta) Salyer of York, SC, Teddi Salyer of Pulaski, VA, and Travis Salyer of Clover, SC; and his four grandchildren, Jayson, Rylan, Zoey, & Paul; his nephew Chad, and niece, Gabby.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm with the service following at 3:00pm, Sunday, August 6, 2023, at:

Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

The family has kindly requested no flowers or gifts.
