Jerry Wayne Tritt

November 15, 1950 — January 15, 2016

Jerry Wayne Tritt, 65, of Rock Hill passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 15, 2016. Jerry was born on November 15, 1950, in Rock Hill, SC. Jerry retired from driving an 18 wheeler and starting working for York County at one of the recycling centers, which he enjoyed, as he enjoyed meeting people and getting to know them. Jerry finally lived on the lake as he had always dreamed, loved boating, loved fishing and shooting skeet. Jerry enjoyed life to the fullest. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding motorcycles. He tried to make each moment in life count. Jerry was preceded to Heaven by his parents, Lander E. Tritt and Elsie V. Tritt. To smile at the many memories they made together over the years, he leaves his sons; Jared W. Tritt and wife Sunny; Joshua B. Tritt and wife Tabitha. Jerry also has made many wonderful memories with his sisters and brother, who he leaves to revisit those together: Maraline T. Clark, Patricia T. Ladrie, Ronald E. Tritt, Judy T. Joplin and Kathy T. Holton. Jerry had six wonderful grandchildren whom he loved and cherished: Brittany N. Tritt, Savannah F. Tritt., Pressley W. Mayo, Dalton E. Gulledge, Gracie B. Gulledge and J. Wesley Tritt. Jerry also leaves behind several nieces and nephews that have many cherished memories that they have made with him over the years. Jerry also leaves behind his ex-wife, Vicki Stroupe, whom he had become close friends with over the years.
