Jesus Francisco Gonzalez Mendoza — beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend — passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, April 2, 2025, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family in his final moments.

Born in Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico, on March 27, 1978, Jesúzo was known for his gentle spirit, unwavering strength, unfiltered humor, and deep love for his family and friends. He dedicated his life to his loved ones — always leading with kindness and quiet resilience. Whether telling a story, sharing a meal, or offering a helping hand, Jesúzo made those around him feel seen and loved. A passionate thinker, Jesúzo thrived on deep conversations and lively debates, often inviting others to question the status quo and consider new ways of seeing the world.

He is survived by his wife, Ana Ruiz and his sons, Diego and Rodrigo, who brought him endless pride and joy. He is also survived by his parents, Jesus Gonzalez Juayek and Roselia Mendoza Alvarez and his brother Eduardo Gonzalez Mendoza and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A service to celebrate Jesúzo’s life will be held on

Jesús Francisco González Mendoza — amado hijo, esposo, padre, hermano y amigo — falleció pacíficamente la mañana del miércoles 2 de abril de 2025, después de una breve y valiente batalla contra el cáncer. Estuvo rodeado de su familia hasta en sus últimos momentos.

Jesúzo nació en Uruapan, Michoacán, México, el 27 de marzo de 1978. Fue conocido por su espíritu noble, su fortaleza inquebrantable, su humor sin filtro y su profundo amor por su familia y amigos. Dedicó su vida a sus seres queridos — siempre guiando con bondad y una resiliencia tranquila. Ya fuera contando una historia o conviviendo con familiares o amigos, Jesúzo hacía que quienes lo rodeaban se sintieran vistos y amados.

Jesúzo era un pensador apasionado y disfrutaba de las conversaciones profundas y los debates animados – siempre invitando a otros a cuestionar el estatus quo y a considerar nuevas formas de ver el mundo.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Ana Ruiz, y sus hijos, Diego y Rodrigo, quienes le brindaron un orgullo y una alegría infinita. También le sobreviven sus padres, Jesús González Juayek y Roselia Mendoza Álvarez, su hermano Eduardo González Mendoza, y muchos familiares y amigos que lo extrañarán profundamente.
