Jim A Hyatt

McConnells, SC - James (Jim) A Hyatt, 67, of York County passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 1, 2017.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017, at the V.F.W. Post 2889 Main Street, Rock Hill, SC. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be private.

Jim was born to Arthur and Mamie Hyatt on July 24, 1949, in York County, SC. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He started his HAVAC career with Hyatt Heating and Air Conditioning and later being employed with Carowinds where he retired. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, American Legion Frank Roach Post, and the VFW post 2889.

Surviving are his two daughters, Shannon Hyatt and Jaime Thompson; a son, Alexander Hyatt; a young brother, Jerry W. Hyatt and his wife, Cindy Hyatt; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, older brother, Thomas Hyatt; a grandchild; and best friend and wife, Debra H Hyatt.
