Jimmy Scott Wyatt

ROCK HILL - Jimmy Scott Wyatt, 63, of 3978 Palmetto Drive, died Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Palmetto Health Richland.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 3rd, from 6-8 PM, at Whitesell Funeral Home.

Born in Rock Hill, Jimmy was the son of the late Bob and Margie Wyatt. He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force where he served for four years. He was also the owner and operator of Wyatt Flooring. He was a Bluegrass Musician having played in bands that included his dad, brothers and nephews. Some of his most favorite times were singing and jamming with his family.

He is survived by his siblings, Bobby Neil Wyatt Jr, Shelby Wyatt Wood and husband Mike, Walter Elvester Wyatt and wife Patti, ex-wife Josephine Powers Wyatt and son Kenneth Powers, and grandchildren Christian, Dathon and Logan. Nieces Lori Wyatt Turrentine and husband Sam, Leslie Wyatt Thomasson and husband Heath, Crystal Davis and husband Sean, and Michelle Wood. Nephews B.J. Wyatt, Adam Wyatt, Scott Wyatt, Wylie Wood and wife Melissa; great niece, Ashley Elizabeth Wood, great nephews, Dylan Wood, Triad Turrentine, Jackson Turrentine, Hampton Turrentine and
Holden Turrentine, Brian Thomasson, Wyatt Thomasson and Kane Davis.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Lynn Wyatt; grandparents, Walter and Rebecca Neal, and Elvester and Blanche Wyatt.
