Joan Bailey

Ms. Joan Bailey, 81 of 13116 Arrington Heights Place, Charlotte, North Carolina passed away July 10, 2017 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House at Southminster.
A daughter of the late Harold and Dena Bailey, Joan was a faithful healthcare professional having worked as a C.N.A. with Calhoun County for many years prior to her retirement. Joan taught her children to live by the Bible, having them learn the 23rd Psalm by heart. She enjoyed people, and making them laugh. Her favorite past-time was solving crossword and Sudoku puzzles. She was a prolific writer, and enjoyed poetry very much.
Surviving are her five children, David Arnold Jr, Dawn L. Harmon, Zora Thomason, Annette Arnold, Susan Fuchs, a brother, Buddy Bailey, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services for Ms. Bailey will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Mill, South Carolina. Pastor Kenneth Poarch, of Hillcrest Baptist Church will be officiating.
