Jo Anne Grondin, 70, of Fort Mill, SC and formerly of Richburg, SC, peacefully entered into rest on Thursday, July 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 9, 1954 in Great Lakes, IL, daughter of the late Rene E. Grondin RDCM USN and Helen Wagner Zakrzewski.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Paul A. Grondin.
Jo Anne was generous, kind, witty and an overall beautiful person. She had an amazing taste in music, loved binging her favorite TV shows and sipping on Diet Pepsi. Her forgiving and accepting nature made her the kind of person that would be there for those in need without any expectation of reciprocity and she loved without judgement. We were all grateful to really know her and she will truly be missed.
She leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by her survivors; her son Billy Bogue (Parrish), daughters Tara Hallam and Rebecca Decker (Thomas), brothers R. Robert Grondin (Karen) and James Grondin (Bernice), grandchildren Frankie Starnes (Amber), Dylan Bogue, Dakota Bogue, Matthew Starnes (Mistie), Rachel Harvey, Benjamin Harvey, Jackson Hallam, Nathan Hallam, Lawsen Decker and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church on Saturday August 3, 2024 at 9:30a.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The U.S Pain Foundation and Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Southminster . If making donations to the hospice house, please use the one time donation and refer to Jo Anne Grondin.
