Joe T. Tucker

ROCK HILL - Joe T. Tucker, 67, of 401 Rockwell Circle, died Saturday, August 15, 2015, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Rev. Jerry Catledge officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.

Born in Gaffney, S.C., Joe was the son of the late John and Grace Bishop Tucker. He was retired from Reliance Electric of Kings Mountain and a past employee of Duff Norton and Carastar of Rock Hill. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Joe also enjoyed sports and loved watching the Green Bay Packers on TV. Nascar and Dirt Track Racing was also some of his favorite things to watch. He also had a soft spot in his heart for taking in stray cats. Joe was loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary B. Tucker; two brothers, Robert Tucker and Douglas Tucker. He is preceded in death by two brothers, George and Bill Tucker, and his sister, Betty Louise Johnson.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 17, 2015, from 6-8 PM, at Whitesell Funeral Home and other times at the home of Judy Knowles, 1939 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
