John Wayne Bailey, Jr.

John Wayne Bailey, Jr. passed away at his home, on Monday, December 19, 2016. Born on September 10, 1938, in Mason City, Iowa, a son of the late John Wayne and Delma Akeson Bailey.

He was member of Grace Communion International Church in Charlotte, NC. He enjoyed the ministry and churched he served. Mr. Bailey was a professor at Mason City Iowa Community College. He also was a very successful business man, having worked for several companies.

He survived by his loving wife Karen Rae Bailey of Indian Land, SC; a son Troy Bailey of Indian Land, SC; and daughter Dawn Stephens and husband Bob of Charlotte, NC. Two grandchildren Michael and Jeffrey Stephens, and a great-grandson Daniel Stephens.

A service for Mr. Bailey will be held at a later date.
