John William Scott "Scottie" Byrnes

John William Scott Byrnes (Scottie) was born on November 26, 1971 in New Jersey. On Monday April 9, 2017 he was called home to be with the Lord. He was the son of the late John Andrew and Joyce Cranston Byrnes. He was educated in the public schools of East Rutherford NJ. He was an avid sports fan with his favorite sport being baseball and he would tell you that he played the sport very well. Scottie moved to Gastonia NC, in 2002 and was employed by Pizza Hut and Circle K. He later relocated to Rock Hill, SC After moving to Rock Hill, John united Tabernacle of Praise Church International; under the leadership of Bishop Alfred Jackson. He loved to go to church and was a very active in ministry. He served in the following areas of ministry: Ushers, Sound and Media and Men's ministry. John leaves to cherish her memory: his son, James Andrew Scott of the home. four aunts : Tina Bongivonni (Pete) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Patricia Paparelli of Belmont,NC; Jeanette Manieri (Pete)of Matwan NJ; Diane Leonard of Gastonia, NC One uncle : John Cranston of Melbourne Fl. Special Family Elder Warren and Cheryl Hoskins, and a host of cousins, church family and friends. A service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11am at Tabernacle of Praise Church International in York SC.
