John Thomas Lowery, 49 of Rock Hill passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Atrium Health Pineville following a brief illness.
John was born on September 13, 1970 in Mountain Home, Idaho to Joseph Wayne Lowery and Lea Cook Lowery. He was a graduate of Northwestern High School and attended York Tech where he earned his CDL license. John worked for Thompson Industrial, Charlotte. He loved sports especially football, John was a true Clemson Tiger Football fan as well as a Washington Redskin fan.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his children Jonathan Thomas Lowery of Rock Hill, Lauren Elizabeth Lowery (Michael) of Parker, Colorado and Courtney Renee Lowery of Rock Hill, wife Robin Hill Lowery, one brother Wayne Lowery and wife Cathy of Rock Hill, nieces and nephews Zach, Camery, Tegan and Pace. Also, he cherished his two dogs Oliver and Willie, cat Rascal and his three birds.
A gathering to Celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, Rock Hill.
Memorials may be made to York County Humane Society, 8177 Regent Pkwy, Fort Mill, SC 29715 or the charity of the donor's choice.
