John Paul Mack, 29, of Rock Hill, South Carolina departed this world and began his final journey toward the open arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, November 11, 2024.
In addition to his loving parents Tim and Debbie Mack of Rock Hill, he is survived by his grandparents Charles and Ann Grim of Rock Hill, his brothers Robert (Mary) Mack of York, Charles (Mary) Mack of Gaffney, and Joseph Mack of Rock Hill, along with 6 nieces and nephews (Lyla, Allison, Henry, Rose, Veronica, and Oliver).
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Lois Mack of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
John Paul was born in Rock Hill on Tuesday, June 6, 1995, to Tim and Debbie Mack. He was homeschooled and attended York Tech, graduating with his Associate’s Degree in Engineering. He was an instrumental part of the development of his brother Robert’s electrical business, Mack Electric. He enjoyed helping with yard work and projects that challenged his mechanical mind, like working on engines and computers. He was an avid gamer and had a flight simulator setup that he built himself.
John Paul was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who would help anyone without question. He was truly a gentle giant. His joyous personality full of life, enthusiasm, and love will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be at St. Ann’s Catholic Church 3635 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209, from 7pm - 9pm on Thursday, November 14, 2024. The funeral Mass will be at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Charlotte, on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 12:30 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in John Paul's name may be made at St. Ann Catholic Church 3635 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209.
