John Robert Moore

Mr. John Robert Moore passed away April 9, 2012, he was 74. Mr. Moore was born on November 1, 1937 to the late, Robert and Ruth Moore of Charlotte, NC. He worked as a sub-contractor in Charlotte and was well known as a wallpaper hanger. Many of his passions involved the outdoors, such as hunting and he loved to fish; he also enjoyed creating art. He was of the Mormon faith and his family is very grateful for bringing them into the church. Mr. Moore is predeceased by his parents; his son, David Alexander Moore and his sister, Peggy Frazier. He is survived by his three children; sons, Wayne and his wife, Debra Moore, Stacy and his wife, Beth Moore; daughter, Kimberly and her husband, Joe Brown; one brother, Bill Moore; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. There will be a time of fellowship from 7:00-9:00 PM, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in the Cultural Hall of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5815 Carmel Rd., Charlotte. Graveside services will be held, 1:00 PM, Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Charlotte.
