Jonathan Levi Galvan Sr.

Jonathan Levi "Johnny" Galvan, Sr., 26, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 in Rock Hill. A native of Fayetteville, NC, he was the son of Anthony Galvan of Asheboro, NC and Laurie Hilton of Catawba. Mr. Galvan was employed by Rock Hill Industrial and was a member of Roddey Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son Jonathan Levi Galvan, Jr. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife Melissa "Missy" Smith Galvan; three children Zebulon, Houston and Peyton Galvan of Catawba; two brothers Anthony Galvan of Greensboro and Caleb Galvan of Asheboro; a sister April Galvan Sams and her husband Sam of Reidsville,NC; stepmother Lisa Galvan; stepfather David Hilton; a stepbrother Ian Cox; a stepsister Ashley Fenderson; father-in-law and mother-in-law Robbie and Angie Graham; brother-in-law Wayne Smith; also numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Johnny will be held Wednesday at 11:00am at Roddey Baptist Church, 2678 S. Anderson Road, Catawba with Pastor Ronnie Helms officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials in memory of Johnny may be made to Roddey Baptist Church, PO Box 36 , Catawba, SC 29704
